"Quote" and "Watch" button doesn't work after redmine upgrade - version 3.1.0 stable

Hello, I recently upgraded redmine to version 3.1.0 (latest version) and when I try to click on "Quote" or "Watch" in an issue I get the "Loading" dialog in ajax but there is no response to the POST request. It seems stuck.

I tried to tail the redmine production.log, but I get nothing there.

Any ideas?

A bit old thread, I know but I am struggling with the same issue on a production server. Testing the same installation on a test server does not reproduce the issue.

Anybody has a clue what should I be looking for?
