Redmine

I'm looking for a tutorial or some sort, on how to add filters.
What I'm trying to do is I have a page and I want to use the redmine filter.
The data to be filtered were hardcoded and formulated from the issues.
Is this possible?

Sorry I'm new in redmine. I really want to learn these things.
