I have had Redmine 3.2.0 running on IIS 8.0 (Windows Server 2012 R2 x64) with HttpPlatformHandler for a while now. Behind the scenes are Ruby for Windows and Puma. Everything was fine.
Last thursday, 34 updates were automatically installed on this server (which is only used as a web server, so not many windows modules are installed). Since then I can still access Redmine pages (HTTP GET), but I am unable to update a single ticket (HTTP POST): attempting to do so results in a blank page stating An unhandled lowlevel error occurred. The application logs may have details.
I see no traces in the logs, and it seems that the Redmine process does not even see the requests being rejected.
I understand this is more of a Windows/IIS issue, but maybe someone here can be able to give me clues as to what is happening under the hood. Like which stage is writing the error message (I know this is not IIS)? And can I have more logs about what is happening?

Problem solved. All of a sudden, Redmine needed writing rights on my system Temp directory (C:\Windows\Temp
), which the IIS user did not have.
