Does redmine create a new sessionfile/sessionrecord for every atom read?

Added by Thomas Pihl over 15 years ago

We use RSS/Atom to push awareness about new issues to managers of different teams.

On average each person subscribe to 7-8 queries, and they check them every 3 minutes (well, it's a high-profile support center).

My problem is like 8000 new sessions-files (in 0.8) per day. I'd assume i get as many in the tables when we move to newer versions.

Do we really need a session for atom-reads? Can they be bypassed in this situation or do i need continue use external scripts to clear directory/table?
