Various internal server error after upgrading from 2.4.2 to 3.3.1.stable - can't find the logs.

Hi

After upgrading I'm getting internal server error on several pages, for example when trying to create a new user, go to my page and access the settings page. All of these refer to the server logs for details but I can't find them. /usr/share/redmine/log/production is empty, so is /var/log/redmine/default/production.log. No entries in the apache2 error log either.

This is very hard to fault-trace without any logs. Any ideas on where the logs might be?

Turned out to be a file permission problem, i.e. the apache user didn't have write access to the log.
