upgrade from 3.2.9 to 3.3 or maybe 3.4? via git

I have been using redmine from git by cloning the 3.2 branch with
git clone -b 3.2-stable https://github.com/redmine/redmine.git
What would be the best way to upgrade via git? What version should I upgrade to? On the roadmap I do not see what the major differences are.
