Redmine

Hello,
I need a way to extract information from Issues and into custom document reports that I use. In terms of functionality this resembles "mail merge" found in popular document writing software: a document "pulls" data from a spreadsheet or database and fills in the respective data (e.g. name, date, etc).

In the case of Redmine I am aware of RedmineUP's "Reporter plugin", which makes use of tokens to pull information from the Issue into the generated report. Yet it lacks the flexibility of ad-hoc correcting the produced report (one needs to tamper with the report template to make a change).

Is anyone aware of some other, more flexible manner to achieve this?
