Default filter is not collapsed

When clicking on "view all issues" on the issues tab on a project the filter is "open", showing all the fintering options. This takes some space from the screen.

Is it possible to have the filter option collapsed, so you only see "filter" and then you can open it if you need to make changes to the filter?
