Total newbee needs basic help to start

I'm trying to upgrade my pm software and Redmine seems the next step. Did the total download and even have signed in.

How do I start a new project?

Please keep it simple - I'm an analyst not a computer person.

it's really easy, don't worry

I don't have a redmine installation right now to give you a step by step guide

but if you've already logged in as administrator

just go to administration -> projects -> new project, and complete the data

then click on projects, select the project you've just created

and then you can start adding new tickes with the "new issue" option...
