Which user should run the reposman cron job for repository creation?

Hello,

I am reading this:

In the above the root user is running the reposman cron job.

My query is : Should the user who is part of the rvmsudo group be doing this?

It is not clear to me.

Can someone please explain?

How did you install Redmine?

If you did it a standard way following this instruction https://www.redmineup.com/pages/help/installation/installing-redmine-on-ubuntu-20-04
, then you need the owner be root with your apache user as the group (e.g. www-data on Debian/Ubuntu)

The user should be in group www-data:www-data
