URL in e-mail notification
Added by h z over 15 years ago
Hi,
we run Redmine 0.8.3 and have a problem with the e-mail notifications for issues.
The URL is wrong.
Here's how the notification mail looks
Issue #39 has been reported by Ziegler, Helmut. ---------------------------------------- Error #39: test https://https:/redmine/issues/show/39 Author: z, h Status: Neu Priority: Normal Assigned to: z, h Category: Target version: ...
So the host url is wrong in the notification.
In Administration settings it's set to https://www.ourdomain.de:9443/redmine
So I wonder where the URL in the e-mail notification comes from (https://https:/redmine/issues/show/39)
Is it possible that it has something to do with the apache configuration? I know that a colleague struggled somewhat with the https protocol.
Cheers,
Helmut

I think your Redmine has a misconfigured hostname. Check in Administration > Settings > General tab

Hey Eric,
thanks a lot! You were right. The URL had a leading "https://"

I just posted a FAQ item for this, since it has come up a few times already.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
