News notification by e-mail

Hello everyone,
I'm expecting problems with the notification when news are added in projets.
All other e-mail features are ok, except notifications when documents are added.
I wondered if I am doing something wrong or if it's a known issue.
Of course I checked e-mail notifications for news & documents in main settings.
Thanks in advance for you help.
When I say problem, I mean that users don't receive e-mails !
