How to get the data from Redmine? (redmine 0.8.5)

hi,guys
I really need to know how to get the data from redmine, I saw mysql database installed on the folder, but I can't open it like other database visual operation. Can anyone tell me the right way? I just need to transfer data between sql sever and mysql.
