Redmine

hi all,
I am trying to built a testing plugin and wanna to add the permissons for that but re not working have found the tutorial for the plugin here [[http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/Plugin_Tutorial#Adding-new-permissions]] but not working properly.

I wanted to provide permissions when the user is logged in, and have used the hook to custom the home page and that provided links on it, so wannted to add permissions to access that links.

Any help is appriciated..
