Redmine

Hi all,
it's the first time I post here and I am generally a newbie to the hole Redmine platform.
Together with a team, we are implementing Redmine and specifically the WK Time plugin for a client.
We also needed to localize wktime. Text wise, of course it has not been a problem.
We are having issues on date formatting.
We would need such a setting: day/month. Right now we are having: month/day.
We have set the right specs in the locale yml file, but appearently it looks like as WK time is not responding to Redmine's general settings.
Could anyone assist on how to work around the problem?
