Redmine Redmine - Feature #5598 (Closed): Strict assignmenthttps://www.redmine.org/issues/55982010-05-26T11:52:33ZNikolay Kotlyarov

There is a strict bond between status and role.
Only users with proper role can change status.
But there is no connection between "assigned to" and user.
Independently of "assigned to" field every user with proper role can change status.

There should be an option to enable "strict assignment" when only assigned user can change status, not every user with proper role.
Redmine - Feature #5468 (Closed): Add "project" filter to "View all issues"https://www.redmine.org/issues/54682010-05-07T13:56:13ZNikolay Kotlyarov

There is no "project" filter in all issues view (/tracker/issues).
You can only add "project" column or "group by project", but can not filter out projects that you're not interested in.

There must be an opportunity to filter issues by specific set of projects.
It can be accomplished by adding "project" filter.
Redmine - Feature #5171 (Closed): [Flash player] Being able to embed swf fileshttps://www.redmine.org/issues/51712010-03-24T13:19:40ZNikolay Kotlyarov

The request is:
being able to embed swf files(to wiki pages, issues, etc.)
like it is now for images.
Redmine - Feature #5130 (New): Configurable columns in related tasks sectionhttps://www.redmine.org/issues/51302010-03-19T17:38:31ZNikolay Kotlyarov

Related tasks section in an issue view has predefined columns now.
There must be a way to configure which columns to display for different users.

For example, if i want to see "assigned_to" and "category" fields of related issues,
i must use a workaround like editing "
app\views\issues\_relations.rhtml
":

<%= relation.other_issue(@issue).category %>

<%=h relation.other_issue(@issue).subject %>

<%= relation.other_issue(@issue).assigned_to %>

<%= relation.other_issue(@issue).status.name %>

Implementation

It would be nice to have an "options" in the related issues section of an issue,
which should be similar to "Options" in "Issues" tab view.
With that you can configure which columns to display(including custom fields) and the order of the columns.

Also there must be a way to configure the defaults for this view somewhere in "Administration".

Redmine - Feature #3671 (New): We want smileys in text formatting!:))https://www.redmine.org/issues/36712009-07-25T17:40:12ZNikolay Kotlyarov

When my manager saw forum feature in Redmine he said:

Where are smileys? No smileys? Forum without smileys?! It's not a forum!!!:)

I think it would be very nice to have smiley-feature in addition to standard text formatting features like bold, italic, etc.
It must be something like this:
