Description
A nice feature would be the definition of fields that are mandatory based on some conditional constraint/rule e.g. workflow status or another fields value.
Some fields should also only be editable in by specific users e.g. developers.
As far as I know there is no such feature present at the current time?

Indeed, but there's a bunch of feature requests already filled here, see #703 as a starting point.
