Description

I'm somewhat new to redmine, I tried to figure out how to configure user privilege about "creating a project", but failed to find one on user configuration page.

It was actually on the user-project privilege configuration page.

If I'm correct, current process of assigning users the privilege about creating a project is:

a. Create a privilege in roles and permissions page (if it doesn't exist yet, optional)

Check "Create project"

b. Select a user and assign a project with the privilege from (a)

c. End, now that user can create a project.

But I think it's more natural assigning a privilege like "create project" should go into the user configuration page.

It's not related to some projects, isn't it?

(maybe it's fixed already in the current version. Im using 1.2.1, because im so lazy -.-)

As a workaround, you can give the "Create project" permission to the non-member role. All registered users will be able to create projects.

Thanks. But it's not possible for our project. For us, some user accounts exist just to report issues. Anyway it's a nice workaround.
