Description

I tried to use bzr repository with Redmine. Redmine shows commits descriptions, but if I commits texts in Russian it show ????? instead of Russian letters. Latin letters shows normally. UTF-8 locale used for all the system (GNU/Linux server) and on client side too (same GNU/Linux). I not tried other SCMs with Redmine yet, only bzr.

Redmine 0.7.3.devel.2056 (MySQL).

This is fixed in 0.8. In the application settings, you can now specify the encoding of your commit messages so that they get reencoded to UTF8 before insertion in the database. Note that this setting is not retroactive, this won't reencode commit messages that are already loaded in the database.
