I cann't understand why using all wiki formatting to transform the repository comments.

Why ? just like for any description/ comment, it allows text formatting, hyperlinks...

why all wiki formatting?

the hyperlink is good, but I don't think the "h1. h2..." headers, {{include(page)}} marco... are also good for comments? I don't think it's good feeling for users.

just my option. maybe I should put this to open discussion.
