h1. Code highlighting supported languages
Default code highlighting relies on "Rouge":http://rouge.jneen.net/ since Redmine 4.0.0. It supports over 130 languages. Refer [[RedmineTextFormattingTextile#Code-highlighting]] or [[RedmineTextFormattingMarkdown#Code-highlighting]] for how to highlight code.
Here is a list of supported languages by Rouge 3.3.0, which is bundled with Redmine 4.0.0. You can also get a list of running @bundle exec rougify list@ in the installation directory of Redmine.
