API?

My team is currently looking around at different bug tracking/project management solutions and Redmine is looking good. I was curious if there is an API available? While 90% of our needs are met, we can foresee possibly needing to integrate with existing systems.

I see there are several tickets related to an API but I'm curious if there are any solid plans to move forward with this?

Currently there isn't an API available but there is a lot of activity about it. Depending on your integration needs, you can build a Redmine plugin with it's own API.
