Redmine Virtual Appliance

Added by Frédéric Manzano about 16 years ago

I've realized a virtual appliance with Redmine with defaults options (but in French configuration : Os and Redmine).

This message is to Jean-Philippe, could-you authorize me to upload this VM at the Vmware Appliance website ?

Thanks !

(274 Mb compressed, over 900 Mb for storage on Usb key ;-) , Ubuntu Server 6.06).

any chance of getting this in english? I ran into some problems last night and found my keyboard, being set up for english, was the wrong kind. IOW, I needed a french keyboard.

I've also tried installing ubuntu from an appliance and putting in all of the things redmine needs. I'm all set except I can't ping the box from outside, and my css is messed up.

I tried downloading this vmware appliance today (2008-10-16) and it does not work; the file appears to be gone from the hosting server.
The URL was
http://dl.free.fr/o7qn1WA2i/vuamprs.tar.gz
I don't know how to fix it; I hope you do.
Thanks,
jdp

I've published a blog entry with a step by step install from source to build an appliance based on Ubuntu jeOS 8.04. The comments are in spanish, but I hope the commands will help: http://adminsq3.blogspot.com/2010/02/appliance-redmineapachephusion.html

It uses Redmine trunk, Apache, Phusion Passenger 2.2.9, Ruby Enterprise, Rails 2.3.5...
