I don't know how you've managed that, but some parts of your redmine-0.9.1 get called to service parts of redmine-1.1.0, which I'm pretty sure would be very hard to get to work together. I guess it has something to do with some environment variables, but I can't say what.

Hi,

thanks for reply. I try to explain my upgrade with more details. Sorry for my english.

I have one installation stable of redmine in /opt/redmine/redmine-0.9.1-0. On Step 3 of guide(http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/RedmineUpgrade) i considered the directory /opt/redmine/redmine-0.9.1-0/apps/redmine like as RAILS_ROOT/files directory.

redmine@Redmine:~/redmine-0.9.1-0/apps/redmine> ls
Al app conf config db doc extra files lib log public Rakefile README.rdoc script scripts test tmp vendor

Then i copied this in new directory /opt/redmine/redmine-1.1.0

redmine@Redmine:~/redmine-1.1.0> ls
Al app conf config db doc extra files lib log public Rakefile README.rdoc script scripts test tmp vendor

I followed the others steeps of guide very carefully without errors. I used the same database for old version of redmine and older binaries:

redmine@Redmine:~/redmine-0.9.1-0> ls
apache2 boot.log common git licenses *perl* *ruby* sqlite uninstall
apps changelog.txt ctlscript.sh img *mysql* README.txt scripts subversion use_redmine

My enviroment is Linux SLES 10 (SP2) x86 and preconfigured package redmine--0.9.1-0.

How i can upgrade correctly redmine??

Regards, and sorry for my english again :-)
