Git wiki formatting of commit:"89abcdef"

Hello All,

I'm having trouble using wiki-formatting for my git-based "non-integer" changesets.

commit:"89abcdef" does not render into a hyperlink, even though that is an actual revision key I copy/pasted right of my repository page.

Could anyone suggest what I have not configured or not doing right ?

I created a new ticket for this issue at #1872.
