Redmine

Hey guys,
We are currently using svn for all our project, but are thinking to migrate to git.
Since we were using svn so far we want to use git in the same way, but with the added bonuses :)

Right now, when we create a new project in redmine, a script automatically creates a svn repository and adds the appropriate users to it. This way we can easily be up and running in a few seconds.

So now I'm wondering if we could achieve the same thing with git? (I saw that plan.io is offering such thing (at least the git creation is instant - don't know about the users))
I want to be able to create a project and automatically get a git repository + all developers in redmine assigned to that project should get push access to the git repository.

Do you know of a tutorial explaining how to configure the server for this? (is it at all possible??)
