Problem with issue updates through Atom feeds on redmine 1.0.1.
Added by Deepak Kumar almost 13 years ago
Using Atom feeds, when we subscribe to a filter in an existing issues and when that issue changes the status or gets updated, it does not get modified in the feeds. Please let me know if this the way its supposed to work or is it this a bug in redmine 1.0.1.

I'll try to explain this a bit more (I'm colleague of the above poster)...
Filters aside, Atom feeds come through on a specified project. So lets say we have an already existing issue and I make a change to it. That means that update date changes, so the issue shoots to the top of the list of issues (provided it has been sorted by "Update Date").
But looking at the feeds for this project, the date on that issue has not changed, and therefore the feed reader does not mark that item as changed.
This essentially means that project feeds are only good for showing new incoming issues. But there is no way of getting a project feed on issues that have been updated.
If this is the standard "correct" functionality, is this functionality achievable through a plugin?
I also wonder if I'm alone on this desired functionality or if its something that should be part of Redmine by default.
