Redmine Income Email using IMAP and SSL/TLS authentication

Hi,

I am trying to setup Redmine to receive emails using IMAP to create the issues automatically. The problem is that our IMAP uses TLS on top SSL. Is there a way to setup IMAP with SSSL/TLS authentications?

I could not find anything on the forums and web (just outbound setups, not inbound).

Anyone?

My redmine version is : 1.2.0

I belive that you need to setup SMTP settings instead of IMAP.

Can we use smtp for inbound?

I was trying to use the guidelines for RedmineReceivingEmails

I am sorry, I meant regarding the TLS.

An alternative way: If the connection of between Redmin and IMAP server are secure, you can add an additional listeining port to IMAP Server that is not SSL or TSL and get the mails from them.
