Typically our workflow is
Status:
New
In Progress (Developer is working on it)
Resolved (Developer has fixed the issue but it is not on a QA server yet)
Released for Testing (Software deployed and is ready for testing)
Testing in process (Tester has begun looking at this)
Feedback
Closed

We typically work on a group of items, resolve them one at a time, and then make and deploy a QA release.

What happens is, when we are ready to deploy everything to QA I go to the issues tab and select all the items and change status to "Released for Testing" this triggers a bunch of emails to be sent out. I then have to change assignee to "testers" which again triggers a bunch of emails to be sent out. I don't want both sets of emails. The quantity of emails people get then make them ignore important ones.

Is it possible to change assignee and status in one step for a group of items?
