issue_status: different meanings possible?!
Added by Serdar Bozdag almost 12 years ago
Hi,
is it possible to give a particular issue_status different meanings?
e.g. "feedback" should be a closing status for some projects but not closing for others?!
another question is how to implement multiple requirements to close an issue.
e.g. "feedback" should be a closing status only if previous issue_status is "new"?!
appreciate any ideas ;-)

IMHO that's not possible, as issue statuses are project independant (at least in 1.4).

Not possible either if I'm not mistaken, as issue statuses are either closing or not. If a status is closing or not is independent of its current / previous state...

I'm not sure I understand correctly. You created an issue which you now want to close?
Go to the issue, click edit and set its status to the desired state.
