Compressing uncompressed wiki history and deleting wiki history
Added by Mikołaj Milej over 11 years ago
Hi
I'm wondering how to compress all uncompressed wiki history existing in database?
Is it safe to use new feature "delete" wiki history entry. May it break reverting the history, for eg:
a * b c
Current version is a then delete b and then I'd like back to c and after that again to a. Will it work as expected?
I don't know if history entry stores only diff or whole wiki page. When it stores whole page then it should work flawlessly, if not then there is a problem with diff to version that was deleted.

I had just tested: created revisions 1, 2, 3; deleted revision 2 and there was not a break in the history; diff between 1 and 3 was exact and the two revisions 1 and 3 remained not corrupted.

Ok, deleting pages works thanks.
So what about compressing uncompressed wiki pages?
