How to use a other database in redmine bitnami 2.3.3

I want to use a other database not the bitnami database. I have recieved a database from my boss(the database is a postgresql but is now migrated in mysql) and i want to use that one. I have looked every where but couldnt really find a answer. when i migrated the new db the redmine application stopped working. I like to have a step by step instruction

That would really nice if you could post what you have done. I have a similar issue.
