Newb Q. Does Redmine forum also mail subscribers?

Like a mailing list or Google Group? Before we dive in, it is not immediately clear.

Looking forward to get to know RM better.

There are no email notifications when a new post is made in a forum but there's a feed.

Replies to a "watched" message trigger information emails.
