Syntax highlighting in diff viewer

Is it possible to get syntax highlighting working in the diff viewer?
It works when you view a file from the repository, but not when viewing differences.
We're currently using CodeRay - would a different highlighter work for this?

Normal file view
highlighting in normal view

Diff view - no highlighting
no syntax highlighting in diff viewer
