Checkboxes on left of issues on Issue list
Added by Ben Coleman almost 16 years ago
On the issue list (both single-project and multiproject) there are checkboxes to the left of each issue. Are these actually useful (like being able to make a single change (e.g. status) to multiple, checked issues), or are they just decorative? If they're actually useful, how do you use them?

IMHO they are intended (and used by myself) to be able to make a selection of issues for the right-click context menu.

Ah. I didn't even realize that there was a right-click context menu.

That's that's a hidden UI that a lot of people miss. I'm open to suggestions about how to make it more discoverable.
Note: I don't want to get into about if the right click is correct for a website, that's been discussed more than enough in another thread.

In a previous website I worked on, we put a little note aligned to the right. Would that work here?
Cheers,
