Waiting For Help !!!!!! About chaos of sub-tasks
Added by Frank Nmg about 10 years ago
I manage 2 projects (A , B) with redmine and each processes a tree of tasks and subtasks.
Yesterday, I moved the issues from project A to project B and merge the two tree into one,
how ever chaos accures. The field `lft` and `rgt` got wrong value, so the tree became
strange.
1. Subtasks disappear although the value of `parent_id` is right.
2. The ancestors showed on the ticket are not real ancestors of the issue.
Anyone is caught with such mass?
Thank you very much !!!

Is it the possible that when I merge one tree, I make another tree merge at the same time. So bad data for data appears.
Am I right?

I'm not familiar with redmine core. What's the possible reason for the bad data of `lft` and `rgt`........

Hello dear Frank, what is your native language?
About your question, how are related the projects and the processes? because you define the workflow apart of the projects.
and how did you merge and why the trees into one??
those questions for try to help you.

Tasks ,Sub-Tasks and Sub-Sub-tasks together make a tree. If want to put ticket A under ticket B, then A with its
sub-tasks together go under B, I call this a `merge`.
After merging, I found that the father-child relationship go into chaos, due to the fact that the fields `lft` and `rgt` contains wrong data. I don't know why it happens...
