A way to show issus to watchers which are only allowed to see issues created by them or assigned by them

My customers are only allowed to see issues they created or issued they are assigned to them (setting on roles).

My requirement is, in some cases I need to add the customer as a watcher but because of the above mentioned role, the customer can still not see the issue.

is there a way to do this setting?

The same case existst for private issues. A watcher should be able to see an issue even if it is private.

Not with a vanilla Redmine deployment. See #8488.
