Custom fields with Text format don't supports rich text formatting!!!

Is it just in Ver 3.0.3?

Or
How can I see more than 3 lines text when I creat new task which include a Custom fields with Text format?

For long text, i suggest to put into custom field's description instead. user can move mouse over to see the detail
