[Redmine 4.0.3], wiki, file link not longer working

Hello,
under redmine V3.x it was possible to set a link to a local file by choosing "protocol" "<other" and a URL like "file:///c:/temp/whatever.pdf". By clicking at the link the file was opened.

Under redmine V4.02 these links are not longer working. Clicking at the link has no effect (it seems that it's not detected as a link).

Any reason for this behaviour?

All prior versions of Redmine including 3.x have never allowed 'files://' URLs for security reasons. I think you made some customizes in your 3.x instance.
