How to extend the capacity of hard drive after HDD added.

Added by Chien-Sheng Chen over 5 years ago

Hi All,
I'm new for here, thanks for your view this issue.

Our Redmine environment version information as below. And we want to extend the DISK for attached files.
We had already add HDD into system, but don't know how to assign the added drive to Redmine.
Does it has SOP to re-assign volume to Redmine.
Environment:
Redmine version 2.6.0.stable
Ruby version 2.0.0-p481 (2014-05-08) [x86_64-linux]
Rails version 3.2.19
Environment production
Database adapter Mysql2

Resizing the partition doesn't affect Redmine at all and depends heavily on the OS your Redmine installation is running on. Your attachments are stored in a folder on your system which is accessed by Redmine. By default your attachments are stored in the files folder inside your Redmine installation. You can change the path in the configuration.yml file inside the config folder of your Redmine installation.
