Backup and restore

Hi,
We are using the redmine 2.6.0.1 version for past 4+ years.Due to the OS issue the redmine system could not boot.So we re-installed the OS and taken full backup of redmine before re installing the OS.But we are not able to restore the DB.Two services are not coming up while restoring the database. Kindly help on th

Can any one provide the procedure of restoring the redmine in a windows platform.
I have the backup folder of previous redmine entire folder.How to restore the backup from the redmine folder.
Have any one tried it
