Separate DB server for Redmine 4.0

Have anyone tried to separate the database of redmine on a different server?
How do you do that? Thank you in advance.

It's no problem. Just dump your database to the new server and change your database settings in config/database.yml to point to the host your db should run in the future.
If you have installed Redmine by a package manager the path to your database config file can vary.
