About the naming format of redmine file storage

All the bug attachments I submitted are stored in the directory /opt/redmine/files/. I would like to know the naming format of the submitted attachment files stored on the server, because I want to backup the data incremically. I am not sure whether these file names contain special characters such as Spaces

Since you are on Linux, you can use the rsync utility to do an incremental backup of the files directory to any SFTP server.
