Redmine 5.0.8 2MFA

Hi,
We have installed redmine 5.0.8 and everything is working fine except 2MFA. For unknown reasons, in different users , after some time the code cannot be entered. We have a message all the time on the page Code is invalid or outdated.
Because resetting 2MFA, everything works, unfortunately this is repeatable in different users. In the production.log, I do not see problems with 2MFA logging. Can you help me diagnose the problem?

I removed from the GoogleAuth application, the account and added again. Then it worked. Why is it that you have to remove from Google auth app and add again

I hear your frustration with Redmine 5.0.8's 2MFA acting up! Here are some things to check that might be causing the "Code is invalid or outdated" message for some users:
  • Time Mismatch: Make sure the server time and user device times are accurate. Even a slight difference can cause issues with 2MFA codes.
  • Re-used Codes: Redmine might remember previously used codes and reject them. Encourage users to wait for a new code before entering one.
  • App Issues: If users are using an authentication app (like Google Authenticator), try reinstalling it or using a different app to see if it resolves the problem.
