git branches for project repositories

Hello,

Just installed .7.1 today (new user). Great work! Definitely seems to be a better Trac.

I use git, and didn't have any problems getting the integration to work. However, is there any way to tell a project to use a particular branch of a repository? I have many projects, but most should be associated with branches off the same repository. I'd prefer not to checkout working copies of everything just for the sake of redmine.

This also interests me. I am looking at the adapter now to see how this could be implemented.
