Best way of tracking time spent on projects
Added by Jamie Wooltorton over 15 years ago
Hi All,
Couple of question from:
Firstly, I want to know the if there is a way of monitoring time logged against projects. Obviously this is so I can work out what my developers are actually doing. Seems a bit of a no brain feature but can't find anything in the actual project. So am I missing something obvious?
Also, is there a way I can limit what Reporters can see, as in I've added the project requesters as reporters but have noticed if I log in as them they can see all the projects and only really want them to have access to what they have requested. Again I'm probably using Redmine incorrectly, so any advice would be useful
Ta
Jamie

If you want to limit which projects the reporters are able to see I would advise you to create your projects non public. Then you could just invite your reporters to the projects they should be able to see. You could also limit their right by playing around with "roles and permissions" at the administration page.
Kind regards,
Mats
