How can i modify the subject and description of a issue?

are they all const? why can't i modify them if i made a spell mistake for example?

This depends on your permissions. If you have permission, then after clicking update, there is a little hyperlink titled 'more' by the change properties text whcih will enable the extra boxes.

It isn't very obvious, took me a while to find it, and for tickets I have submitted to redmine.org, I can't alter them as don't have permission.

I think it should use the pencil icon as same as History.

Woo, thanks for the reply...I am searching on how to change the subject and it leads to this thread... I am really didn't notice the more link in the update form....

thank you very much, I was going crazy looking for this possibility.
For Italian users, the link is named "Altro" and it is placed next to the words "Modifica le proprietà".
