source links with special character

Hi,
I have the following link to source files:
source:source/NetBeansProjects/br-version-1.0-M&R

Unfortunately, it is rendered as a link only up to "br-version-1.0-M" and "&R" characters are left out:
source:source/NetBeansProjects/br-version-1.0-M&R

I tried enclosing the link in double quotes:
source:"source/NetBeansProjects/br-version-1.0-M&R/INSPIRERegistryAdmin"

But the rendered link does not point to the correct location.
source:source/NetBeansProjects/br-version-1.0-M&R/INSPIRERegistryAdmin

Is there a way I can escape the ampersand?

have you tried

source:M&R/INSPIRERegistryAdmin

?

using ampersands and the like in path names should generally be avoided.
