Howto customize home and project overview pages?

How I can customize home and overview pages?

Specially at home page I would like to listen only Projects that user has access to rather than "new projects" section. Also hiding that page would be useful.

At overview page I would like to at least remove "members" section, specially since when in full use list can have (in theory) more than 8000 users listed.

have a look at the redmine_tweaks plugin.
