No email when assigned an issue

I have the mail settings set to "only for things I watch or am involved in." however when I am assigned an issue I don't get an email.

I then tried to create a ATOM feed with issues assigned to me, which worked when I displayed the XML in Firefoz, however when I tried to add the feed to Feedreader or Google Reader, it listed all open bugs for everyone.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Avoid replying your own post, I'm reading those without any reply first.

Have you try to set your filter before generating your feed? IIRW, it works just after setting it, then recall the display page.
